Eco-conscious artist Fabian Jochen Kanzler is well aware of the problems and has enough skill to figure out some artistic solutions as well. The designer has come up with an eco-friendly chair the 294 Liters Seat which has been carefully created using 294 milk, coffee and juice cartons. The furniture item was created within one month by gathering waste created during regular consumption. Eco Factor: Low-emission car powered by a hybrid engine. The Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid supercar that let Porsche buff up its green credentials has officially received the green light for production. Shown for the first time as a concept at this spring s Geneva Motor Show, this green car was already under consideration for production by the Beijing Auto Show. The two-seater that has a top speed of 198mph is based on electric drive-systems as well as 500-horsepower V-8 engine, which allows the car to run up to a range of 16 miles. The car will be designed and engineered in Weissach, Germany, and assembled in Porsche s factory in Zuffenhausen. The Porsche 918 Spyder comes will three additional modes - Hybrid, Sport Hybrid and Race Hybrid. All these modes help in boosting up both performance and speed. The company had put a 1,000-buyer threshold on the decision to build the car and by late April, the number already touched 900. Unlike conventional skyscrapers, the Horizontal Scraper rests above the ground level on roofs of existing buildings. The 15-story tall structure floats on the skyline without blocking natural light necessary for the buildings underneath. The mixed-use structure provides space for residences, offices and recreation areas. The rooftop is adorned with green garden with sports facilities. Eco Factor: Zero-emission concept car powered by electricity. The Lamborghini Rompighiaccio concept by designer Denis Archambault tries to break the thought that super cars cant be ecological. The vehicle takes inspiration from the snow sculpts created by wind in the Arctic landscape and also by a wolfs anatomy. The absence of the distinctive engine allows utilization of space in a better way. With a zero-emission electric drive, the concept will not produce any emissions, while offering the same performance as its gas-powered competitors. The interiors have also been created to give a new experience to the occupants. The seats move and get closer as the speed of the car increases. The passenger seat can also be removed completely, bringing the driver in the center of the car, a position most favorable when riding this beast on a race track.
